Tuna?

This looks very familiar. Mileage is a tad different, but the damage to the right frame slider looks the same. If it is the same bike, I'd be concerned about it going from no title to clean, clear title in less than two weeks.

If it's the same bike that sold here, the authenticity of the title concerns me.

To get a title in 2 weeks from no title to title, all he would have is have get the bike bonded. As long as he has a BOS and the VIN doesn't come back as stolen or a lean he can get a title for it.

The title still comes from Austin and takes 6-8 weeks. Been there, done that.

If it's the same bike, the response to that would be, "Well...it was 14k when I posted it, but I've been riding the bike so it went up to 15.5k."

Like ferris, he put it on blocks and ran it in reverse, or what?

Do I really have to explain my comment? Fine...

IF this is the same bike, the mileage is currently advertised as 14k. When a buyer shows up to look at it and sees the mileage at 15.5k, the seller just says, "I've been riding it."

I don't give a if this is the same bike and Tuna is making a buck or twelve hundred. I just don't like the shadiness of the CL ad I found.

You should reserve using his name and "shadiness" in the same breath until you know for a fact it is him. Looks like the same bike to me but unless you know for sure, it's entirely speculation at this point and you're smearing another member's name.

Which is why I put the question mark in the thread title and constantly use the word, "IF."
