For 2 kids, you need one of these:

ZX14 big

concours14

I'm partial to this one myself:

Aerodynamic Motorcycle Sidecar

Couldn't you still be able to 2 wheel it if hit a left turn pretty well assuming you pushed on the bar hard enough and hung off enough? lol

I'd be guessing it's easier going through a right turn, but yes... it's doable. I've heard it called flying.

Honestly, after have driven a bike with a side car, I'd rather have a convertible sports car like an S2000 or something. The trill of riding is gone when that third wheel is there. Something to think about Ed.

Already hsd a highly modded miata

Its either ride the current bike, pay afterschool of prob $500 + private school tuition , wife picks up and drop off kids, and they wont get home till ~530

Buy sidecar, ride to work, pu kids, get home by 430

No sidecar = drive minivan to park-n-ride, take bus, take bus home , p/u kids in van

Not sure if it is still there, but a shop in Brookshire had a harley with sidecar. Low miles(this was a month or so ago that I saw it). Don't think you want a harley though. Will be interested in seeing what you come up with.

A lot of people suggested I get something with 3 wheels and it's just not the same thrill as riding on 2. No leaning it in corners, no ability to zig zag when you need to etc. The sidecar if driven by a single wheel pulls hard on acceleration to the right. The ones with a drive shaft are better. Both make a bike feel like you're pulling a boat anchor. I'm sure the CanAm spider is totally different because it's driven centrally but Ed isn't looking at one of those since there's no place to stuff a kid.

Ed, what about the safety aspect of putting your kid in a side car? I guess it's worth the risk to you otherwise you wouldn't be considering it. I don't think I could put my kid in one for a daily driver. Maybe for a weekend joy ride but it just seems too risky. Especially when you will be down on power.

If its just picking them up from school then home or a short errand it seems ok. But I would still be worried as well. Especially since racerx riders like a bat out of squid. Lol seems like alot of funand I wouod love to see the smile on the kiddos face. Definately something they would never forget.

How he rides isn't the issue. I'm sure he wouldn't ride and endanger himself or his kids, it's the idiots that you can't predict. Even as a defensive driver, stuff happens. As Ed knows or will find out, riding with a side car is like driving a Yugo lol. It's hard to get out of its own way lol.

I totally agree with you. If its just out in the burbs around the neighborhood would seem to be a little better but still and stupid kids in cars to worry about. Belive he has already had his daughter riding on his current bike. ITS TIME TO GROW UP.lol
