Wire harness

As a result of the previous owner of my bike hot wiring and adding foreign wires to the bike, I'm having wire issues and things shorting out. Guessing my best choice is just get a new wire harness. Any suggestions on where to go to get one put in? I know it'll be a couple hours of labor. I really don't wanna spend more than 2 or 3 hundred bucks for parts and labor. But if that's impossible I understand

Thanks MH

Look on Ebay or call some of the big salvage yards to find a complete harness.
After that it's not too much to install it.
I'm assuming this is on your SV1000?

If you don't have any tools you can bring it over here. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours. I have a trailer to cart it over if its not running.

One of the shorts is effecting the fuel pump somehow so it won't start about 90% of the time. But if I start it I can get it over there. Where do you live? And yeah I haven't look into prices but I wouldn't mind paying a little more for something i know is legit.
