Stolen GSXR...Reward(s) offered!

I ran across this flyer while I was getting my mail today. The bike isn't mine, just thought I'd post this up and help out a fellow rider. I've seen this bike parked in my apartment complex's parking lot for awhile now, but I haven't met the owner. I had just heard recently that someone's bike was stolen out of the lot, and I guess it was his.

My apartment complex is Ranchstone Apartments in Jersey village, just off of Jones Road. I guess if you live in this area, keep an eye out.

He's offering two rewards: 1) $1000 if you bring the bike back in its original condition. and 2) another $1000 if you bring the punk that stole it.

FYI... you can look "in the area"... but my stolen bike was found 1hr away with 600+ miles on it in ~3weeks.

That's why I pay $60 more every month for a garage. Worth every penny when I hear stories like this.

Sorry to hear, but I'm glad you at least got it back. I'd hate to get my bike stolen; seems like getting it back is a long shot.

wow i live super close to here, sad to hear that bikes are still being stolen in apartments, i used to sleep with one eye open every night when I stayed at Windfern Place, the gates never worked and MANY people keep there bikes there, i always parked mine in the area where 2-3 bikes were but still never felt safe.

I will def. keep an eye out, since it is a common GSXR is there any distinct mods that would help identify it (6" stretched swingarms are becoming very common on these bikes now-days as well)

Still, keeping my eyes peeled for a neighbor!
