If they would forgo the $20 sticker i might be up to help. been wanting to check out the place. cant really see spending $20 plus the daily admission fee to go clean up trails that i have never riden or use. But it does sound like its a good cause to keep the trails open

You may want to call them and ask them that. I can't imagine they would turn away free labor because of the sticker requirement. Especially since they expire in a month.

They sold me one for $16 at Houston Power Sports off Perry and 1960. $4.00 big deal right? I take what I can get....

The OHV sticker does cost $16 and runs from 1st of September to the 31st of August next year. You can order it directly from the Texas Parks and Wildlife at 512-389-8917. Thats how I did it and it was mailed home in 4-5 days. If they only sell current stickers then yes, it is not worth it for you but I would call to see if they have started next year's tickets already and if they have a grace period for the month of August(with a next year's sticker). If they do, you might as well get one if you intend to check out the place at some point, like you said...

Daily fee is $5 both for the east and west trailheads on a normal day, although I'm not sure whether it will be required that specific day....

As Brandon said they may require neither since we're there to help, but someone should check before to make sure. Would not be pleasant if the Rangers start giving citations along with free water

U might be ok for the most part...I ran some 50/50 Golden Boys out there with minimal issues. Just be sure to drop your psi down to ~12ish

are there any more details as far as which trail heads and times go? looking like I might have a couple hours of free time to kill before I do a video shoot, and I'd like to kill some of that on the bike or doing trail work. is an hour or 2 of help desired? I don't want to be the guy that shows up and leaves as the hard work just gets underway. but i would love to meet some of the trail fairies and trolls that make the woods a happy place for motodudes.

All questions can be directed to the person putting this thing together Lynn Bailey <lynnbailey24@gmail.com>
or you can let me know and I can filter them to him directly since I work with him...

I asked about the stickers.....rangers are not going to letting ppl get around that....same as riding your dirt bikes on the dirt roads....going to have to ride the trail to the location we are cleaning.

It will be at the East Side trail head at 8am....behind the trade center

Yep, Saturday. Which Rudy's? I only know of two and they are both the opposite direction for me.

EDIT: I expect you are talking about the one by Splashtown. I can do that though I was planning on riding up 149 to 1375. ...I can ride 149 any day of the week though.
