Yami should make the R1 look more like the R6 IMHO then I would by in a second. The 07 Gix 1k sounds bad A$$ but unless you're racing it I don't know why you would need to switch between 3 different maps for the street. But I still like it the most out of all the 1K's

The GSXR does NOT have an slipper-clutch. Its does have the tunable PCM on the hand controls though. Which - believe it or not is sweet. Not everyone is down with the dual-exhausts but they can be changed. The bike is in fact better then its ever been.

The R1 does have the slipper clutch. These units typically run $800-1000 bucks and Yamaha didn't upcharge that to the customer in additional costs this year either. Furthermore it has a YCTT, throttle-by-wire, throttle control this year too. This makes your throttle response better controlled than anything I have ever felt before.

As for the MV Agusta - well its much more then the "cool" exhaust. The bike is a work of art. Single sided swingarm, Brembo brakes and wheels, 174 HP, Ostrich seats, Ohlins this and that, I mean the list is long about what the MV is that others aren't. Come by my shop and say hello - i'll show you the MV's. They are sweet.

The 07 1k does have a slipper. The guys at roadracingworld thought the 05-06 is better track bike.Really though they're all very good bikes-pretty much down to personal tastes
