What can this be???? Won't Start...

Road my bike to work did fine. Went to lunch, came out bike wouldn't start. Usually when I turn the key I usually hear something cycle on like my fuel pump or injection. After numerous tries nothing but a few times it would crank for a few seconds then shut off. There's this little component hear that I can hear trying to engage or something. Looks like it may be something that opens n closes something on my carbs.

Can something be going out with my fuel injection or pump. Checked fuses, fuel. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Keith

If it's your Gsxr the secondary throttle servo could be bad. It happened on my 600, but it would still run. I would loose power after 7,000 rpm. Could be a relay.

could be bad relay, kill/start switch or weak battery. you'd have to test all electrical components to see where the problem lies.

If it cranks and doesn't start, fuel delivery. If it cranks for a few seconds and will no longer crank, electrical. Check fuses, could be a relay, or the kunuder valve. No need to resort to seafoam until we the "MH MD.DDS" have more info on the matter.

I'm sorta thinking electrical or relay somewhere going out. Will only turn over. Charged battery so power should be okay. That little picture with the nicks on the black case sounds like it's struggling to engage but not doing so. Gonna look more into the harness everywhere tomorrow.

Instead of replacing stuff, I would take it to a local shop sponsor. I can help with transport if you want.

Do that ^. If you don't know if it's carb'd or fi you are likely in over your head. It might not be a big issue, but if you start fixing things that aren't broke, you might fix them till they are.

I'm sure it's simple, and seen your posts before, maybe someone will chime in that has more knowledge of your 750.

Not the kick stand switch.

Thanks craig for offering with transport but making myself learn my bike more.

Have my manual on my laptop that quit on me the other day so can't read up on it. As far as a code showing up. FI, I believe code shows on my speedo.

In case anyone needs to know it's an 02 750 gsxr. Please hold the gixxer jokes.lol. I can hear em coming.lol.
I think I need to locate what activates my fuel injection.
Also again Thanks y'all for shooting suggestions my way.

All jokes aside, doesn't sound like TOO big of a problem. How do you know it is not the kickstand switch, or what that switch connects to, or the connection between them? There are so many possibilities for this scenario and it would be best to look at it from the simplest point of view. Though I've never had a kickstand switch go out, I've heard plenty of stories where people spent a ridiculous amount of time troubleshooting something as simple as a kickstand switch or kill switch. Again, I hope someone familiar with your bike chimes in with a similar experience and an easy fix.

Throttle servo... I had to replace the whole assembly. Easy to switch, but expensive. Had the same code on my 600.

Is it that whole assembly? Or the electrical thing on the right? There's like 3 plugs running from it.

So what part an about how much do you think?

I don't know if that's what is wrong with your bike. Best to get it looked at, and I can help. The servo motor can't be individually replaced on the 2004 600. I had to replace the entire assembly. I found a used one, and had to swap injectors. Paid around $1,000.

Well if it is that whole assembly. I guess I'm gonna do those things I've been putting off like painting my tank, cutting down my exhaust. Few other things I've been wanting to do as far as some maintenance.

I'm sure a sponsor can get you a cheap diagnostic. Like I said I am free next week to transport. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, but it's worth getting looked at. Could be something more simple.

+1. I have a volt meter, and wires with gator clips if needed.
