seat

well my seat got jacked by the guy who was fixing my bike, he claimed he "lost" it...so i had to make me a custom one out of cardboard untill my new one gets in...so if yall see me riding try not to laugh to hard!

nope he aint...i got at him cause he was taking for ever so i went and took the bike and didnt pay...the only thing i bought was the forks...they put them on and bought a new wheel and tire

That sucks.

You entrust your bike to someone to fix it, they take it with the expectation that you're going to pay for the work and you get screwed over.

Sounds as if this jerk probably won't be around running his business into the ground like that. You should at least make a phone call to the BBB and let them send him some hate mail, maybe it will get you your cash for you seat.

BBB can't do anything but send letters and keep track of complaints. If the guy isn't going to replace the seat for you, the BBB isn't going to be able to 'make him' do it.

Agreed but perhaps he'll not want to get into issues with the BBB. The BBB doesn't charge you $$$ for making calls and sending hate letters. You can't go to JP court for $40 because the filing fee would cost you more than that.

The BBB is about the only way short of breaking someone's leg to get something done.

Im sorry but if i took my bike somewhere one way and it was returned missing parts the business would be replaceing the parts. why should you pay for a shop not being organized and losing stuff?
