Inspection sticker placement!?

So it's about time I got my inspection sticker up to date and actually on the bike. I don't have a plate holder that has a spot for the sticker. Plate is under the rear seat tucked in so the sticker rubs off from the tire. I got pulled over yesterday and the bike cop that got me, said to put it on the swing arm. The people at the inspection station are telling me they "can't put it there". They actually tried to put it ON the plate. I said "it covers half the plate man". After 15 min of back and forth they finally agreed to put it on the swing arm but they are not happy about it. Anyone have this issue?

the inspector is correct. The sticker must be visable from behind the bike.its BS but the state can fine the inspector.

Temporarily put one of the cheesy plate and inspection sticker holder thing on your bike.

Spray a thin layer of wd or PAM cooking spray on the pices for the inspection sticker. Let the inspector apply it....remove it yourself and spray glue the MF to your swingarm.

That or find a shady inspector in the hood and flip em a $20.00 bill to stick on the swingarm.

I've had mine on the swingarm and didn't have any issues with it the one time I was pulled over (cop clocked the truck next to me, but pulled me over instead... longish story).

Since then, I put back the stock frame piece that held the initial sticker and I've been using that since. Does it look as sleek? Nope. Does it meet legal requirements and give one less reason for cops to want to pull me over? I can only hope so.

Sticker place near the house slapped it right on the swingarm.

Previous was there but was long expired so I cleaned it off before hitting up the sticker shop. Tried asking them to just put it on the back of the plate but they wouldn't.

I tried gettin one one the swingarm and the guy said he couldn't..I argued with him for a good 15 min before I just spent The money for a bracket and relocated the plate. Bracket was about $3.

The inspection guy put mine underneath my seat (by the battery). First time getting a bike inspected (I'm from Canada) so I had no idea it had to be visible from the back...
