Dog Gears are part of the transmission. They don't effect sound.

not quite true... all the things that are attributed to him and about him could be argued, but it is a proven historical fact that the itenerate preacher, commonly referred to as Jesus did exist.

Maybe your terminology and my terminology differ. "Dog gears" refer to straight cut gears (ie: sequential transmissions like Xtrac) and they VERY MUCH effect the sound of vehicle output. They are as loud as the engine sometimes...

Maybe your reading comprehension differs from effective reading comprehension. The question asks "if jesus was an engine...". So, transmission noise factors in about as much as a flat tire or missing wheel: which is not at all.

The person even thought he saw after this. I bet he looked like mosses coming down off the mountain standing that close.

This is interesting too, all electric, i know its a motor but hear the carnage as it hooks up, you can even hear him close his visor.

Straight cut gears are straight cut gears. Dog gears refers to ENGAGEMENT dogs... the method by which a gear has its speed matched so it can be locked to the main shaft. All modern sport bikes have dog geared trannies. That's why we can do clutchless shifting so easily.

Straight cut gears do whine like a . But its normally only audible from inside the cab...so posting a 100 ft away video of a car, and mentioning its tranny still doesn't make sense.
