TMGP RD 4 Halffast Report, Post yours!!!!

What a day at the TMGP races. On the way to the track we caught rain but at the track it was cloudy skies, but no rain. During practice there was only one wet spot on the track. I ran into clutch problems during practice and thanks to Patrick, we quickly got it fixes . For a bit I thought Robert and I were going to have to race with out using a clutch lever. I did 10 races again and I had Robert (Aggie) come out and race a few on my (his previous) bike. Thanks to Hector I only had on Kx65 to deal with. My first race was race 5. In race 4 the rain came down hard. So much for racing on a dry track. I started the race in 6th place; racing in the rain is about patience and strategy. One by one I passed up to third, people were crashing a lot. The track dried up pretty good until around 3, then the rain came again but not a lot, just enough to make the track slick. After the second break, I had 5 races in a row and once again, my super awesome girlfriend did a great job giving me ice packs and water in between each race. In the superbike race I was in second for the whole race until the last lap when Hayden passed me coming into turn one. I quickly recovered and made a pass from third to finish in second. Then my last race was unlimited, and Kyle on his kx65 and I were the slow ones in the group. I had a jump on him on the start but by turn one he was ahead of me, I chased him for 4 laps and finally was close enough to make a pass . I tried two times earlier, but he made sure to close the door before I could get through . Once again, thank you Hector for being scared of a little rain. Thank you to the corner workers for watching over us and making keeping us all informed of downed riders.
At the end of the day I ended up with 2-1st place finished, 2-2nd places, and 3-3rd place finishes. Thank you to all the racers and race organizers, what a great group of people !!!!

Yeah right wat a day. My first race I crashed 5 times on the first lap. Talk about embarrassing. I dont wat I was doin wrong, I was sitting up, smooth on the gas and never braked while I was turning I just had no traction on the front end. On lap 2 I crashed two more times broke my clutch perch and pulled in. Ive never pulled out of a race in my whole 15 yrs of racing, I was upset. After the track dried it was business as usual. F5 novice race I was running second when I saw kyle go wide in a turn and I thought theres my opening.............he went wide cause of the only wet spot on the track so I made my move......down again didnt see the water thank you joey for not hitting me. I picked it up and after a couple of laps I caught back up. Passed joey on second to last lap for second and started chasing kyle. If we had one more lap I might have passed him but hes good at blocking. Sorry about that pass joey it was a little dirty, thats the mx coming out in me. Nothing exciting happened in any of my other races but 2 firsts and 2 seconds out of 7 reaces, not to bad. Still mad about crashing 8 times in a lap and a half. See ya at denton
