tomorrow is going to suck teh . Actually on Ride Smart's home page they have a little paragraph about an event they rescheduled due to weather and gave a credit back to the registered participants. I believe if you don't go b/c you think it's gonna be cancelled and it isn't cancelled, then you end up with NOTHING! So, I will be going up there in the wee hours of the morning only to be told it is cancelled at which point I will drag my sorry back home and into bed.
If anybody finds out the event is cancelled PLEASE post it asap.

+1 !!!

I'll check back in the morning.

I don't understand why they don't offer a weather hotline. I heard Cresson was cancelled?! Heck, we have it for Barrel Racing - Call before you haul and for soccer too. You call a number to find out whether it will happen or not. This will really suck for a lot of people; there are people scheduled and paid to go from as far as San Antonio.

We're (4 riders and bikes for sure - signed up and paid) from Corpus 275 miles ONE WAY to TWS (Texas World Speedway). Ain't gonna happen - we're not goin. Should be cancelled - if not it's really gonna SUCK. High of 40/Strong North Winds/70-80% chance of Rain/100 % cloud cover all day/High Humidity/Will feel like mid 30's (until you start moving)

I just got back home from the track. It was cold and raining like crazy. Couldn't even begin to crack the throttle on the rc. It kept spinning up. I did 1 and a half sessions and called it quits when the ice fell from the sky. It wasn't worth the potential of crashing. Bad enough there were large puddles on the track and slick as ice. I hope thoses who stayed all the luck and keep in one piece.

yup that was interesting riding weather. Rode two sessions before leaving. Decided to quit after having the scared out of me in turn 4. Then the ice came down... Can't believe people were riding in the sleet.

Anybody know of a good way to remove the number stickers? For some reason I decided to stick them directly on the paint instead of just using masking tape to keep them on. Now, after being soaked then dried, they are pretty much permanent. I can only peel off little pieces at a time. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: I may try using the water hose to blast them off but how would I get rid of the left over adhesive?

i didn't spin it up, both tires broke free and I slide about 6 inches(just a guess) off my line... about shat myself. near fell off the bike a few times as well b/c of the wet foot pegs. I got on the throttle a couple times once the bike was vertical and didn't have any problems. Must be that Suzuki traction control... Did your wife ride?

Was crazy weather out there, I road 3 sessions till My buddy was riding with Ty and the guy on the CBR went down, And then Ty flew passed my buddy and then went into the mud. I put mine on the trailer after that. The bad thing was Ty was running rain tires and still went down. I was in level 2 and almost everyone packed up before I did. It was crazy cold out there and I tried to hang in there as long as I could but my fingers were to frozen. I was standing right beside Nut I believe during the riders meeting, I think that was her if she wears the red leathers I thought I recognized her bike when she went thru tech inspection. I was the bald guy wearing the black and silver Frank Thomas leathers to the right of you.
