Back in H-town

Well, it looks like I'm back in the Houston area for a while (NW-copperfield area). I have lost touch with 99.99% of the people from around here, so if you see a new face at the local meet up, it might be me.

I'm looking for some folks who like to build projects, as much as they like to ride. IS there a specific group of folks still into that?

I'm in a cage for the next 2-3 months while I source parts to put my (now-demolished) SV back together (note to self... never let anyone else ride your bike... )... so that means no rides for a while, but it'd be good to make a few meetups and re-connect with some old friends.

See y'all 'round the paddock...
Johnny

Does anyone know the user name of the lady who rode an SV that was lowered (she's just a schosche under 5ft tall) and her husband rode a Kana-Tuna that was wrecked a couple years ago on a group ride??? I think her sister rode a V-Max... I'm not sure...

Anyway... I wanted to ask her what kind of drop she used on her bike that didn't screw up the suspension travel... I have a few projects in the shop and one of them is an SV being converted to a cruiser.

I got some 4" dog-bones, but don't know how to squeak 2" more out of it... thought she might know... or maybe the guy who built her bike... suggestions on where to find them would be great!

Thanks...
Johnny
