Make sure you look at how big it is from a side view. I couldn't stand the look but if you can then I am sure it will block alot of wind.

when i had mine, the 2-2.5 hour trip to austin would just wreck havoc on me, half way i usually stopped to stretch, guess a 250 just isnt for me on long rides

I have a '98 ZX-6E and it is a true mile-cruncher with middleweight performance that's still outstanding today. Kawi built a real motor on that bike.

Now, my ex had a Honda Rebel 250 for a little while, and THAT was a gutless wonder. It was absolutely pinned in top gear to try and maintain 65 mph. Scary slow on Houston freeways.
I'd much rather have a Kawasaki 250 than a 500 bell blast.

That said, I have rode a dirt bike across country, an adventure-ized Caponord, a 1967 UniMog.

IF I had to ride the slab, anything that would be comfie and fast. The interstate sux for moto riding.

As a matter of fact, I am picking up a 2006 Sprint ST this coming weekend, already to go with 3 bags, corbin seat, new sneakers. This is a bike I can plop my in and do 800 miles a day.

Pinning a 2 fiddy on the slab would be too much like work
If you want real performance with sport bike punch you need a busa or ZX-14.

I have done 1600 miles a day, just to get laid.
Did it on a Caponord too....last 100 miles was in Montana, 1am....from I-15 to Darby,MT...via this deer infested via point (45.692751,-113.944412)

Did that 100 miles in less than 1.5 hours
