JLo to try Laguna Seca this weekend

With news that DP is leaving a day late for California to undergo one more round of treatment, JLo is already here preparing to ride for the weekend.

This should be interesting and I really hope that noone else crashes to create injury or further hurt existing injuries.

Back on a GSXR!!! 08 600

That dudes a beast. Raced 2 days after he originally broke the collar bone. Re broke it what, Friday or Saturday in practice, and already back out riding. That's and determination. Where's the meme of the nba player (Lebron maybe?) Being carried off because of leg cramps? Now is the time for that to be used.

to break a collarbone Fri, then have surgery involving plating and to return to racing a motogp bike sunday is awe inspiring curious to know how thick the titanium plate they used is, that stuff is tough

I was also impressed with how he was able to tuck and roll in mid air in the split second before impact with his feet already kicked off the pegs and leaving the bike with just his hands on the bars. Looked like some of that judo or karate he's into at play, and I think it lessens his injury potential by knowing and practicing how to fall.

Very different crash with pedrosa, but you see him flailing in the air trying to stay upright instead, coming down feet first which plants his head into pavement harder.
Experience is not something you get until just after you needed it.
