Those ducs ain't handling for . Rossi complained asbout not feeling comfy, hence the wrecks last year.

Duc is the problem, not the riders

Ducati have an easy fix,

$30,000,000 on Stoners front door step and a one rider team

Agreed, I don't necessarily think it's the bike, more of a riding style. CS rode the wheels off the Ducati, so many others haven't been able to, CS had his own style of riding, one which suited the Ducati.

Does anyone else find it funny that the frameless tech that was an epic fail for Ducati in GP (except Stoner) managed to trickle down to a production bike.........................where Checa continues to prove that it's an epic fail?

I wouldn't judge it entirely on Checa's performance, he's battling an injury that has resulted in the retirement of several high profile riders, Hodgeson and Toseland to name 2, and he's no spring chicken anymore....

I see it as the pendlum has finally swung in favour of the 4's after an ETERNITY of blantant inequality in favour of the Bologna Bullets but that's just my opinion

I find it funny that Rossi said stoner just wasnt pushing the bike hard enough.

And Ducati bailed on SBK, where they had a commanding possition on the rule book, and put everything into MGP and rossi, bringing in his people and his crew chief Burgess who said he'd have that ducati front end sorted in 40 mins.

Stoner took his crew to Honda and went on a podium tear that would last more than a season. ( and now marquez has stoners crew and data to work with just as rossi did coming in behind another dominate Australian)

Back on toipic i still think there is more left after Ducati for hayden, and several riders who I can't think of, all did quite well after leaving the GP duc even if they stayed in GP.

As for the frameless bike, I think it's a an idea that needs to be coupled with a new front end suspension, and not shoehorned into telescopic forks.

Gp is now about building frames that get the most out of the same tire everyone else, so unless you go radically different, your going to end up at the same optimum solution as the others.

I think it was obvious he wasn't going to be with Ducati next year. With Suzuki coming back it is a possibility he might end up there or maybe it's just me wanting him off Ducati all together. I'm happy the divorce is happening.

Well, there's the ducati-favoring rules, but the panigale was ostensibly better than the 1198 that Checa won on last year. It would seem to me that he (or his well pedigree'd teammate) would be battling for the podium this year if the bike was any good.

Ducati have made a nice boat this year. If it rained at every event, they would probably be a top runner. LOL. if you listen to the announcers, they've allowed Ducati to remove all the restricted plates from their intakes tryin to make them more competitive. Something is definitely wrong with the design. It's strange though that in the superstock class, the Ducati is very potent but once it makes it to the big league it falls way short.

Wish BeIN would show more superstock races though. I really enjoy watching the Ducatis slide around corners.

I think Hayden's either going to stay in GP on one of those Honda/Yamaha customer lease bikes or go to world superbike. There were rumors of him going to BMW but they decided to pull out. Rumor now is Ducati wants him to ride WSBK - maybe to replace Checa. He might come back to TMGP too.
