That concludes today's lesson boys and girls on the #1 reason why you should NOT mess with a car while you are on a bike.

What a fooking maroon.

That idiot is so lucky he stayed on the road and didn't come to a sudden stop in that road divider. Hate to see anyone get hurt, but that guy was asking for it.

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought about. There's a guy and his bike you just hit scattered all over the highway, and your first concern is damage to your car.

Strikes me as a classic case of a rider needlessly putting himself in a bad spot, but the cager's insurance (and the cager) will likely pay. Then the rider will get to tell everyone how f'ed up cagers are because the cager was at fault. The video clearly shows he was rammed from behind. If I was the cager, I sure wouldn't have posted the video or even told anyone about it. Hard to avoid fault when you hit someone from behind, no matter how you get.

^While usually true, the severity of the brake checking will place fault on the rider in this one.

I guess not everybody.

That was definitely a dumb move, regardless of what happen prior to the video.

That video seriously made me lol. He was wearing good gear and just slid, so I'm sure he survived with some rash and bruising, so I can be amused at his misfortune without too much guilt. That rider was a total dumbass.

I like the way the guy gets out and inspects the damage on his car first...then goes and checks on the rider!

P.S...the biker was a dumbass!

with the system we have in courts nowadays, dont be surprised the cager gets slapped with following to close or, my favorite,
failure to control speed
