Anyone know why there hasnt been more effort to protect ribs in an off? We have chest and back protectors, but nothing for the ribs. Maybe it would be too constricting in all of the various riding positions....

Good to see you are good Griff.

Good thing you had an expert behind you that close, that could have been disastrous.

Heal up.

Because there's honestly nothing you can do short of a steel girdle. Ribs break, but that's seldom life threatening or debilitating long term. Even if a rib punctures a lung, it'll heal faster than a shattered spine.

You'd need something like this, but I don't know if you could get your leathers around it.

Sorry to hear about the broken bits, Griff. Heal up quick, man!

Kuddos on going out there at the end of the day and inspecting the track surface. I ran across that same bump earlier in the day and felt the front end jump. It was sheer luck that I stayed upright. Because of your recon, I now know what caused it. I've ridden that track thousands of times and had no idea that problem area was there. Now, had we both been on the "race line" we wouldn't have encountered that problem

Take care of yourself Griff. Could have been much worse by watching the vid...
You guys are getting faster and faster...and it sucks to go down because of uneven track surface......
