I suspect that's not a surgery related injury? 6 weeks and all.

I used a doc out of Willowbrook Methodist and they had an on-site phy therapy room. I recommend Beth....she was a kick as PT who loved football. Monday PT was nice recapping the games.

Heal up Jeff, I've heard that Tums is the best way to supplement for calcium, it absorbs better than the way regular pills could be taken.

Official orthopedic diagnosis is in:
Obviously a broken fibula but I did not have a chipped ankle bone like ER thought.
I dislocated my ankle... and that is swollen and sore. Going back next week after some swelling subsides to get my ankle checked for muscle and ligament damage.
The great news is that I have a boot instead of cast so Ill eventually be able walk in a couple of weeks and SHOWER NORMALLY!!!

Update:
Just got back form the Orthopedic for a follow up exam for ligaments in ankle.

1) Took more X-rays and found a crack in my heel- insignificant at this point compared to to the ankle. Just background noise.

2) Deltoid ligament in ankle is up. Having an MRI this evening to determine if surgery is is my future (like next week) to reattach.

Injury List:

1) Dislocated ankle
2) Broken fibula
3) Cracked heel bone
4) Jacked up deltoid ligament (mebbe surgery)
