Representing motohouston in Scotland....

I am just leaving Scotland after a week here for work. I took advantage of a day off and rented a BMW GS 1200 from scotlandbybike.com I toured around with a personal guide yesterday for about 300 miles in the Highlands outside of Aberdeen and up the coast of the North Sea. It was a great ride and the country is beautiful. Took a few minutes to get used to riding on the left side of the road and riding a much different bike than my S1000. Here's just a few pics of the day.

looks awesome...that is something Rod and I would really like to do. I'm going to guess that the personal guide was provided by the same place you rented the bikes from?

Should be around 3:30 or 4 in the afternoon there, just in time for some Scotch!

A day?? That's not enough time to have fun out there.

Three weeks is more like it.

I know how you feel. I need even more time when I get back. What an amazing place to ride. Heading out to the other side of the world in a month for a few weeks of riding and then off to Ireland next year for a few more weeks. Not sure if they can top Scotland though.

My Granddad lives in Scotland. I try to go every other year. Have been going for years, but only finally rented a bike my last trip over. 2 weeks wasn't enough time either, but we did take the bikes over Apple Cross! What a ROAD! Planning to go again next year.

I've been to Ireland (not on bike) and I don't think it can beat Scotland, but I'm sure it will be amazing too!
