DUMB, why by a knock off Duc when you can own the same looking bike with the real Italian parts for nearly half the price?

Yeah but it has a V-rod motor. Ever rode one?
They run out of breath at too low rpm for my taste. If I gots a bike that promises to be fast I wanna hear it scream a lil.
Besides Harley motors are kinda heavy for the power.

Same here..

Why would you pay $40k for a Duc lookalike bike that has an american engine in it - Harley to be exact!

You could buy a bad Fila Edition 999r for less than that! :icon_bigg

For $39,995 I'd really like it to roll off of the showroom floor with 180bhp.

If I wanted a 120 hp racebike I'd prolly get a ZX-6R, slap some Ducati Xerox fairings on it, brembo it out, build the motor and still have $20K left over for XXXX and XXXXXXes

blech!! Just read about this bike on RRW. Apparently they have some funding to move forward with production, but at 45k MSRP.

http://www.roehrmotorcycles.com/page4.html

Wow, I can see a couple of collectors buying up a few of them, just because. But not much beyond that.

If I could afford to pay 45k for a sport bike, I'd just throw in another 20k and get a Desmosedici. *shrugs*
