Washing textile mesh jacket

I was wondering how often should I wash my jacket? I ride almost everyday to work and back so it gets pretty dirty.

none really make sure u take all the protectors out was it on cold wash. i some time do a warm wash if i no they are pretty dirty.... light on the detergent and i def use a softner so it smells good for the first week.... when i dry them i only put them in for 10-15 min and then let them finish air drying ... this is just me u can wait to see other post...... as a final resort u can take them to a dry cleaner lol but aint nobody got time for that

This. funnily enough, I think the only thing the bathtub at my house has ever been used for is washing motorcycle gear.

I remember when I got my first textile back in the fall of last year I washed it every week. It already had some holes in it from my buddy's crashes so I didn't notice a difference in bigger holes or newer holes.

I washed it normally and dried it normally.. I wouldn't dry anything that's leather though. I have since purchased 3+ jackets since then and haven't really washed them as religiously or at all rather. I would just wash it if it started to smell.
