Howdy and Gig 'em!

Riding is a blast and once you take your MSF course you'll want to be riding ASAP. But I second the advice of these guys. Start small and work your way up. Don't feel like you have to go with a full on super sport bike either. Also - invest in gear. Helmet, jacket and gloves minimum.

Learn to enjoy riding, not going fast. Being unsafe and wild doesn't make you a badass. It makes you a reckless douchebag. That's my $.02!

Again, welcome!

Hopefully that can change soon, I'm doing everything I can to get some money together to buy a bike!

Some background info: I'm 18, I use to race Rotax and HPV2 Karts (if anyone here knows what that, avid formula 1 fan, attending Texas A&M in the fall, and of course.. my parents want to do everything possible to keep me off a bike! haha

Any info or tips or anything at all please let me know!
Thank you,
Nick, welcome.

Welcome to MH op! My dad locked up my old 89 600 Ninja from complaints by his church friends. I'll see what I can do on the Honda tomorrow in Palos Verdes
