Tires for track/street

Been looking at duel compound tires to replace the stock tires I have already. Bridgestone battlax BT015. I plan on getting the battlax BT20's. My question is should I stick with the180/55 or go up to the 190? My bike is a 600 if that matters.

Stick with the 180.

Are you getting the S20s?
How much street riding are you doing? If not a lot try maybe getting BT003RS or Dunlop Q2s

BYRDMAN I'll probably be 50/50 track and street. Eventually ill be primarily track, but that'll be a while from now. I have had a lot people recommend the Q2's. I'm looking for something that warms up fairly quick without tie warmers.

Q2s dont require warmers and are plenty sticky but if your are commuting or weekend riding they will wear the center pretty quick. Q2s are fairly cheap and they stick very well for a intermediate rider...

*opinions on tires are like , everyone has one and they mostly all stink** Im just giving you my personal opinions on what Ive seen/used at the track for your riding level.

I don't commute. I only get to ride about 200 miles a month due to my work schedule. Any place around the Tomball/Woodlands area that carry and install?

Q3's just came out. supposed to be better than Q2's. You might want to give one a shot.
