He had the pole position at an AMA race last year... I forget where though. It was the race weekend where all the factory riders didn't qualify because of wet conditions. Mid-Ohio I think...

He ran the member session at the end of the day with no traffic and was working his lap times down...I think his best lap for yesterday was a 37:4 or 37:5...not a 100% sure.

Mike, your skill and/or equipment is awesome! Nice pics- I really like the one you got of Buck where you can see his face in the helmet.

Wanna come out to TWS (Texas World Speedway) and get some pics of the 8 hour? I'd love to have some pics of me in the quality you have!

Haha one day I'd like to be good enough to charge

I'd like to take pictures at TWS (Texas World Speedway). I haven't been there, are there good locations to get pictures from? I'd be willing to go out there if I have a reasonable chance of getting some decent shots. Looks like its getting more and more difficult to do that at MSR-H

When is the 8 hour?

Oh and that reminds me of this comic: :laughing6

Getting good pictures is a combination of equipment and practice, especially with sports photography. Actually its a lot like riding a motorcycle now that I think about it. It's about knowing how to use what you have, but I'd say there is probably a baseline minimum type of equipment you need. I know I still have a lot to learn so I try to practice every chance I get.

There're couple of spots near T10 (horse shoe) and T3 to take some good photos.
Make sure you ride your KTM out, you'll find it very useful.
Endurance race's on April 14th, Saturday and sprint races are on April 15th, Sunday.
You can come out on April 7th to practice before the race.
There'll be a trackday where I'm (trying to) attend with improoved Boo Boo.
