Ok, I'm with this guy here! First off, you're right Classax, I was ticketed for going just over 70 in what had just turned into 60 from 65. Know where the officer was sitting? That's right, on the other side of an overpass. Know where the "updated" speed limit sign is? At the top of the overpass. Know what causes traffic jams and congestion (sp) along with a good portion of the accidents that occur on our roads (not including those putting on makeup/rubbernecking/texting/usingamirrortofaptopornontheheadrestescalademonito r)? People not going the speed limit (or better).

I don't blame the officer for stopping me, but he didn't even ask me what the hurry was (ya know, pillow talk) otherwise i would have told him I had to because I'm sick and on my way to work at 4o'clock in the morning wearing a company uniform and there aren't any gas stations that open the door for frantic shitgiving patrons who might need to use the facility but doesn't need to buy anything and are affraid of getting robbed. THEN he told me to just go fight it because he wasn't going to show up to court, he just needed to turn in his numbers.

Kudos to you for calling 826 out because I've been saying the same thing to that from day 1! LOL at typographical error, he is the king, and don't forget punctuation! Guy me off with all his upetty bullshit. You also won the internet today because you got droolys' sorry without even knowing what the I'm even talking about right now.

ooooooo,...... catnip!

All typographical/sentence structure/punktuation/grammar/spelling simplified for 826.

Shadow Oaks Elementary has Summer School sessions. That's why they're enforcing the school zone

I'm all for the enforcement of the school zones. These guys weren't there to enforce it though, they were there to write revenue bonds. Otherwise they would have set up so unaware drivers would not have violated it instead of counting on them to. Not to mention risking causing accidents as drivers had to slam on the binders to keep from hitting them as they stepped out of the morning sun.

At my son's school two officers one moto, one cruiser, sit facing either direction lights on radars blazing. They set up in the median across from the school. They don't write many tickets for speeding. More for cell use and a few seat belts. You can see them well before you hit the school zone. No lights on those signs just times of day. That's enforcement.

School zones exsist to improve safety. Safety enforcement efforts are in order to identify, discourage and ultimately prevent unsafe conditions and or practices, not preserve them in order to capitalize on the infractions. Oh well, got to pay for those donuts somehow.

If you win an argument on the internet, you're still an idiot.

Sorry, those are the rules...

You're whole argument is wrong from the get go anyways. You are and impassioned because you feel like the police are here to protect and serve. I am sorry to inform you but they have not had to do that for a LONG time now. Police work for the City/State now and are there only to generate revenue. You should always think about how a police officer could take advantage of you to avoid it because they always will.

Again, police do not serve us anymore and stop thinking they do. We are the cattle and they are here to take out milk.

Just in case anyone wants to say I am full of ....

They are LEO there to enforce the law by writing tickets - not nice traffic nannies there to make sure little Johnny on a motorbike don't get in twable.

Not everybody going thru there broke the law. You did.

I am surprised you, being a father, would speed in a school zone. I have 3 lil' ones and even though I too am no saint with regards to speeding, school zones are absolutely verboten.

One thing I don't do is speed through school zones. If I do get a ticket I don't get all upset about it either. You break the law you get a ticket. Pretty simple. Why didn't you pull over and take a like a man outdoors?

As I said, I didn't get a ticket. I did get stopped I was coming from the back side of their speed trap. I dont need anyone to keep me out of trouble and being a grown man means dealing with whatever consequences that result of my choices. That said this set up is akin to having a table saw with a digit collection basket instead of a blade guard. Just my opinion.

But to your metaphor, lose a digit on the table saw, and you'll never do it again without the guard!
