Um, so... I rode today

It was wonderful!

After only sporadic riding over the winter and then nearly two months of no riding at all for health reasons, I got a while hair and woke up ready to ride.

Two miles into the ride, my right wrist started cramping, then another two miles and my left hand was cramping, too. After 30 miles, my neck was sore, as the wind tried to rip my helmeted head off my shoulders. I didn't care. I wanted to keep going! I missed my motorcycle.

Meaner and Indy went with me to keep an eye on me. We rode up to Coldspring; 2025, 945, 1725 and the back road from Splendora to Cleveland. GREAT morning!

Until I got home - I could barely get off the bike I was so weak. I managed to get my gear off and get in the house, only to be stopped by a phone call that Syvanna had to go to the ER for muscle spasms in her lower left leg. They didn't stop the spasms - they continued for six hours. She has pain now, but the spasms finally stopped. That girl...

Good for you to enjoy that ride.ITs like anything after you stop for awhile it takes few sessions for your body to get used to it again...

It was AWESOME! I loved it. As long as we were moving, it wasn't too hot (at least not for me); Meaner was too hot when we left.

It is what it is. She's a mess. The ER didn't do anything - didn't even diagnose it correctly. They didn't get it to stop and they didn't do any tests to try to figure out why.

I'm exhausted! I'll sleep well tonight!

TECHNICALLY, I'm not supposed to even be driving before Wednesday (two weeks post surgery) and not at all before six months (five more) going seizure free, but I couldn't stand it anymore.

No matter how bad I felt afterward, I don't regret it AT ALL.

Here - bad video of the spasms. She was in so much pain and they didn't even try to help her. You should be able to see it; I made it public.

Squoddy .. I just noticed your location is hillbilly . You mentioned riding from Splendora to Cleveland ... 2090 to 1010 through Plum Grove. Grew up in that area ... did a Coldsprings ride Tuesday ... glad to see you got out and had a good ride.

Happy for you!

I haven't been on the street in over a year and half. But when I crashed at the track last october, it was memorial day before I was back on the bike and it always feels so good. But I miss the out of town country rides a lot. Got to get the RC51 back on the road.

Grew up on 6 acres in Splendora about a mile from the river. Moved our there when I was 6 (mesicans in town kept stealing my dads truck ). Went to school in Cleveland since I lived over the county line. Hour bus ride everyday to and from ... was so glad to get out when I was in High School.

But now I kinda miss the quiet and fresh air. Morning pee off the front porch .. grabbing the gun and shooting anytime I wanted. Ok sorry jacking the thread with my rambles.
