Dunlop Q3 Review

So last saturday i noticed my Q2 had about 30% life left. With these hot summer days I know better to stretch out a tire. How many times has a piece of glass taken me out?

Twice.

So in the summer I always replace the tires a little early. So i call up WWH and Bill says he has the Q3's in. So Im like, sure why not lets get a set.

First Impressions:

Almost dumped the bike taking a turn. They've change the profile to match their Gp stile tires. Easy fall in and turning.

Grip? Better then the Q2's already.
Weight? Already tell the bike moves like it has lighter tires. Impressed.

MIleage? We'll ive put on roughly 800 miles since last Saturday (Yeah I ride a lot).

So far they BARELY looked worn in, I already can tell they are getting into Sport Touring Mileage territory....almost.

Final thoughts:

If you like Q2s, get these. If you've never tried them, why not?

Mmm... looks like I have to do more research before buying a front tire again.

I wanted to try these when my D211gp's wear out.

Good to know they're in town already!

How much did the set run you?

The front tire profile was my only gripe with the Q2.. so if they fixed that and didn't mess with the rubber compounds the Q3 should be perfect.
