I think it's close enough as far as quality, some of the knock offs are.

Just doesn't have the name that you have to pay for.

I dunno how these are , but for like $30 more you can get Sedici Masono's from cycle gear with a lifetime warranty, and I like mine a lot.

I've just realized now these are "womens" boots. They didn't label them as such in the store, and I like them. SO YOU GUYS.

For the life of me I will never understand why somebody will buy those cheap knock off brands. Bilt and sidice from cycle gear are both !

Because not everyone has $400+ to spend on boots, and don't race, and want to be protected while they ride.

what i always wonder is if for example Sidi pays a factory in Romania to make the boots, what happens if the night shift diverts a bunch of em before putting the logo on them and sells them on their own....

If you can't afford the proper gear then don't be surprised if you get hurt

Guess since I can't get that $1,100 A-stars suit (or the $2500 suit with the air bags), $400 Sidi race boots and $800 Arai helmet I just deserve what I get.

That's pretty much what happens for some of the higher quality knockoffs

you get what you pay for, if you trust your feet are protected wearing them then more power to you. some things i just can't justify skimping on.

that is where its most dangerous. my only issue with these things are the stitching and zipper. there's no way to know how they'll hold up in a crash. what you wear or how you ride is a personal decision, though.

Your recommendation is that every motorcyclist buy a pair of $400 - $600 boots? If they can't afford that they should just stick with tennis shoes and flip flops?
