I hadn't seen this post and I assume its existence is why mine was removed. I simply took at face value the post on the CMRA forum that it was new organization. However, the $60 deal is apparently until the 1st of August and the track day calendar isn't updated. So, how are we suppose to notified order members about track days or fine out ourself?

I just want clarification.

I have but I'm new to the Houston and Texas riders community. And for the most part the few riders that I've met have been friendly.

okay then this isnt the track day for you. Try Track tactics this weekend, or do a ridesmart, fastline, or LSTD track days.

but if you really really want to go, dont complain about it. its cheap, you get what you pay for im just being straight up. show up early, register, get bike inspected, track goes hot at 8, 20 min sessions for each group, L3 first, L2, and then L1.

YOU'RE SIMPLY going to have to rely on their website and calendars. There are several TD orgs here in the Houston area and several are sponsors here. Therefore, as respect to them, only they can "advertise" here.

Not sure why others are giving you ....I read more grammatically challenged posts here daily than the one you posted. Good luck.

sure it is. He's done trackdays before. Just make sure to sign up for a reasonable level based on your skillset and remember to compensate that level for learning curve of the track. Don't mind Umayr....he's our resident post who thinks he knows everything.

Since you mentioned your new.....check out all of these orgs via your google browser.

Lone Star Track Days
Ridesmart
Fastline
Tracktactics

I think that's all of em at the moment.

I have Ride Smart and I'd already mention that that weekend I'm going to a wedding.

But thank you anyways.

no, he is complaining already about the track day set up and their organization. its much safer for him to do a track day school to learn the line and all the little tricky spots on the track. if he goes out there and doesnt know all the spots to look out for and he goes fast, then good chance he can wipe out. I dont know his skill level, maybe he's slow maybe he's fast.

i didn't see another thread, but nowhere in the post made today, in this thread, do I see someone or complaining. If he's asking about the org he's never been to, how could he comment on the way things are run?

You're welcome Vilks.

Let me clarify that I move to Houston 12 years ago but it was only around 18 months ago that I started to ride again on R1 '05 I bought (4 moths ago exchange for current bike) However, I got an early start on bikes at 7 y.o. and by age 13 y.o. I was riding street bikes, unsupervised, that I shouldn't have. I loved my dad R.I.P. but that was irresponsible.

Last thing I want is to create is any animosity toward any rider, specially the ones I may share in the future track space with.

I do appreciate your comments and I do plan to do more rides with ride smart and lode star.

Also, I want you to know that I was been sincere about appreciating your clarification on the previous post the one that was removed. Maybe you thought I was been sarcastic because of that stupid smile icon I added?

Regardless everything is cool.
