Yeah I've checked out the Alpha BMW stuff. They make some killer super bike level parts but they are expensive.... As car as their ECU tuning, they are not yet addressing some of the things that the Bren Tuner does... However neither tuner allow for custom fuel mapping so you'd still have to run a PCV if you want to dial in YOUR fuel curve and not running a map that was built on someone else's bike.

Thanks! Yes that was my point, stretch it a little without it looking OBVIOUSLY stretched.. Keeping it stock height helps the stock look and keep it handling good..

I still haven't rode it yet, too freakin cold.. Maybe tomorrow I will take it for a spin.. Hoping it will stay down in 2nd...

Just made my first ride on it... Steering and turn in feels about the same, I really can't feel much difference at all in the handling/steering other then pushing it around in the drive way...

For some reason, it actually seems to ride much stiffer in the rear, I figured it was going to ride softer but its actually the opposite. Seems to transmit every bump/crack in the road right to my ... I guess that is due to the different positioning of the pivot link now.... Changed its leverage point etc etc.. So I may have to play with the shock settings some.

Only made one easy 65 mph, 2nd gear hit, I kind of rolled into it and it didn't even try to wheel, not at all..lol. We'll see the next time I ride it and can really smack it hard and see what it does... I may be able to shorten it another inch.... or go up another tooth on the rear.

Gonna take some fiddling to get it all dialed in but so far, so good.

This weekend, I did some rolls ons with a 2013 ZX14R with a pipe/Guhl reflash. We did some 2nd gear rolls from 60 mph, I'm 195lbs suited, he is about 180lbs suited. On the starts, I was able to go wot from the hit and not wheelie or spin, I'd jump about 1 bike length on him until about 170 mph when he would pull up beside me around 175 ish and put about a fender on me when I topped out at 180 indicated...(175.5 on gps)..

I was quite satisfied with the improvement the swingarm made...Considering the ZX14 is a 200rwhp bike with better aero dynamics and gearing for top end acceleration.

We will soon be testing again once he puts his swingarm on and regears, no doubt he will pull on me sooner then. I will get it on video and post it up when it happens in a couple weeks.

As for the handling/ride of the bike with the arm, stability is MUCH increased in straight line blasts and believe it or not, its more stable in turns, the front end is much less twitchy. I went and rode our local "twisties" and was much more confident and faster through them... So for the type of riding I do, the additional 5" of wheel base improved the bike in every way except parking lot speed turns, that's the only time the additional length is noticeable in turn ins..

I believe keeping the bike at stock height is the key to good handling with the longer arm.

Pretty happy with the return on investment on the arm, now I just need some more power in this ...

Once my buddy gets his arm/gear on his ZX14 and gets it custom mapped, it will be nasty, no way will I be able to run him I don't believe. But for a little 998 cc, the Beamer holds its ground when you can put all its power down.

I have always said it the lowering that kills cornering NOT the length> Peat and Repeat always talk about stretching bikes and how cornering suffers. I gave up on trying to convince people they were wrong

While I was not even remotely close to you and Blanco last year visiting the Sisters, my 2013 S1000rr was amazing in them there hills. I've had zero problems with and still thrilled to own it.
