Naw...When it cools off I'll be messing with the Z06 trying to get it to run a number so... Maybe in the spring I'll try the beamer... I'm not in a big hurry to burn up $400 clutch packs and $300 rear tires.

Plus all the I need for the beamer for the track is expensive... 2x what it costs to set up any other sport bike.. I'd need another $1k worth of stuff easy...

I'm just ready to ride this hoe now..

And since you asked, yes here is another picture..

I'm busy researching the shot out of k members. It's a . This one needs coil overs this one doesn't. Headers fit this one and not that one. This oil pan hangs to low with this member. Blah blah

Alan,

APE makes a clutch pack for the S1000rr when you do start making passes on it:

Well the Beemer is going to Johnny Cheese Saturday for a full map job.. Hopefully it makes some jam.. I'd like to see 190rwhp SAE but....I'd be content with 185rwhp or higher..

The heat is gonna be the killer though.. I'm gonna get there early and make the power pulls first thing in the morning..

Hopefully she'll DO WORK... Then get it back, get some gear on it and it will be ready to play with some locals...

Got the bike to Johnny today to tune. We started with the Brocks map, it made 179hp, fuel curve was all screwed up but up top, it was pretty close at 13.2-13.3 afr..

After about 18 pulls, we got it straightened out as best as possible. One thing we noticed is the throttle position, when wacking the throttle open at low rpms, the actual throttle position does not go 100% open until around 9000 rpms...This was in Slick mode and DTC off, pulls in 4th gear. So it seems there is still some nannies restricting full throttle opening below 9k.....Its weird but its true.. Explains why the midrange/low end power is so soft...

It would be a nasty son of a though.... You'd need a 9" arm to be able to ride it...

It sure would be nice to be rich..

After near a 2 month wait, I finally got my McIntosh custom swing arm, 3-7" over with air tank and bottle basket. I set the bike at 5" over and modded my dog bones to get me back to stock height. The goal is to have near stock like handling but be able to put full power down in 2nd gear.... We do lots of "roll racing" down here, along with some drag racing and mild twisties (sweepers really)... Hopefully it will accomplish what I want.

I know extending sport bikes is sacreligious here, especially a BMW S1000rr but I think it will still be very good in the twisties and much more stable in the straights.... Comments are welcome, good and bad... I can take it..

Haters gonna hate...
