It's either because the owner wanted slack in the throttle, or has not adjusted it.

I love my Kawasaki.

It all depends...

Honda is reliable
Suzuki is everymansbike
Yamaha had some of the best looking
Kawasaki offers the best financing rates

Yes I went for the financing. Haven't had nay major problems in the first year of ownership and 6K miles. I don't think that's too shabby, especially considering that the mileage was on top of owning two other vehicles.

If I had my choice right now I think I would go for a Gixxer 1K or 10R.

What ever you do stay away from Honda - they have a history of running out of gas (Al - Knee_Dragger), require excessive warming up time (Will - A303) & are just plain simple put a POS (Chris - IpK460)

hehe..

Flame Suit On..

On a serious note - get any bike, nowadays they are all made so close together it really does'nt matter on hp or torque. Go for either:

1) The best deal you get

or

2) What ever appeals to you more (look wise).

Performance & Handling wise they are all very close. All of them will do the job and in style.

Either way enjoy your new bike..
hey fuko my bikes not a piece....of course i like the yami better but the honda just fine for its purpose....garage decoration

I had a honda. Honda enjoys engineering accomplishments. As a result they are not as simple to work on as they should be. But they are very good motorcycles.

Suzuki- very easy to work on, great bikes, but the frame issue.

Yamaha, never had one but the r-6 is too peaky for me. A lot of people love them though.

Kawi- I don't know much about them but if I were to buy a 600 it would be a 636.

What's wrong with Triumph? The 675 is a nice ride.

If you are going to go to a liter bike the the new Italian twins are pretty nice, both Aprilia and Ducati. The prices have gone down too.

First bike was a Honda CBR F4. Very comfortable bike, although had horrible electrical issues.

Next had an 02 R1, Nice bike and well balanced, was in the shop once for headlight issues but was an easy fix. Later on, cracked frame!

Current: 05 ZX10R - Havent had an issue yet and by far much faster than the 02 R1. Only complaint about Kawi is they should have put a damper on these bikes from the factory.

I voted Kawi

suzuki, i didnt know alot when i bought mine. I went with the "Win on Sunday sell on Monday" because of matt mladin and his ultimate domination on the suzuki and now ben spies. suzuki dominates AMA superbike and AMA superstock. This year in superstock in the first race spies said he just hung around the front riders to see what they had then just left them behind. so far i am liken suzuki
