I'll say Suzuki because I love the way it handles. I was disappointed with the frame but not enough to change brands. I am going to ride a Honda though if Doug will let me. Just to see how I like it. Honda would be my second choice.

I've owned 6 hondas and only had minor issues with them. wife has had a ninja 250 which are great starter bikes and a sv650 which seems to be doing well even though I hate the transmission.

i chose suzuki because its the only thing ive ever ridden. only one bike. but the reason i chose it when i actually bought it was because of the looks. someone with my lack of experience wont notice any difference from one 600 to another performance wise. however, when i was shopping i didnt like the seat height of the hondas. im 5'10" and barely flat footed when i sat on the bike. on the suzuki i can bend my knees somewhat. gives me some room for error. just my 02.

#1 HONDA - Quality / Reliability / Driveability

#2 Yamaha - I also REALLY like my FZ1 for a street ride - all around great ride

#3 Suzuki - With them around I don't have to buy a Harley to have something to work on all the time (Thanks Bill and Lorenzo). :laughing6

one bike is just as good as another. just depends on the owner. depends on your comfort and skill level, also how you like the bike to look. every rider has different taste. its just like when you buy a car.
