NOLA/Gulf Oaks Mini's and Motards

From an email I received:

To all Edgewise members and friends.

Below is the calendar of events. The dates are divided between two tracks NOLA Motorsports Park and Saucier. All of the Practice and event days start at 8:00 AM. On Race event days you must be registered before the riders meeting at 9:00 AM if you are going to participate in the races. Race Registration closes when the riders meeting starts. On practice days (Test and Tune) registration can be done throughout the day but it would be good if you arrive early so the registration officials can get on the track and ride. For the Saucier track events Nate usually opens the track on the Saturday and Sunday. So if you want additional track time you can come out on Saturday also. (Camping is allowed at the track)

June 30 Saucier NEXT TRACK DAY! (This coming weekend!) This is a test and tune day. Registration is open throughout the day but try to arrive early

July 14 NOLA

July 28 Saucier

Aug 11 NOLA

Aug 18 Saucier

Sep 15 NOLA

Sep 29 Saucier

Oct 20 Saucier

Oct 27 NOLA

Nov 17 NOLA

Nov ?? Saucier (Date in Nov to be determined)

Dec 8 NOLA

At this time the RACE Event days have not been selected so consider dates all test and tune days. I will inform everyone which of these dates will be race dates at a later time.

On RACE dates practice will be as normal Test and Tune days. You will have all of the practice sessions even if you have not entered to race.

The races are just and addition at the end of the day for those who want to participate.

Please forward this to anyone who you think may be interested. If anyone would like to be added to the newsletter just have them send me an email and include a cell phone number. I will use TEXT messages for alerts if I have your cell number. This way I can TEXT out cancellations or date changes in a rapid manner.

You do not have to be an Edgewise Racing or GAMERA member to enter these events. However if you would like to become a member just let me know.

If you plan on making it out to Saucier this weekend please reply to this note and let me know what bike(s) you will be riding. Trying to get a head count.

See ya on Sunday!

I am building a new toy for the events and hope to be ready by August. The mini is going to have a big brother.

Well it all started, when I bought a set of Supermoto wheels, then I had to go find the bike the wheels would fit.

So now in my garage is a CRF450X with a set of wheels, with many more mods to come.
