01 gsxr transmission

how hard is it to change the transmission in gsxr 1000?i have split cases on older bikes.i just woundering if there is any thing special to look out for? when doing this.

Its pretty straight forward.

If you have done an older tranny you shouldn't have a problem with this one.

Just keep a service manual handy and you can give me a call or stop by if you need any help.

I will be doing one next week if you would like to come by and have a look at whats in store.

working on a motoped







i rebuilt my 02 750 transmission without a problem. had to replace 3rd and 4th and a shift fork. labor wasn't bad, parts were expensive! had to replace drive and driven gears.

I dropped it, repaired it, and put it back together in one day.
