maybe they picked it up w/o even messing with the ignition. Most thieves wont even bother with trying to use key blanks or picking a lock. A screw driver and vise grips work just as good. But who knows.....i've seen wierder things.

hmmmmm...been to asi lately?

Wow, congrats! I hope the damage is very minimal.

That is the second time I heard about lo-jack working. A guy from TSBA had his bike stolen in Dallas and the police found the bike in a garage along with three other stolen bikes.

Also, a lot of times they'll steal the bike and then leave it somewhere where they can watch it. (bc if it has lo jack they don't want to get caught with it, obviously)

But yeah, glad you got your bike back, dude.

Good deal you recover your lost. I hope there is no dishonerable punks who are around us checking our bikes out for future income. That would be very sad for our riding community.

Does the 600 Gixxer have the electronic key thingy like the 1000 does? You know the one that doesn't allow it to start with a screwdriver and vice grips? Not that it matters cause I know that most thieves just plug in their own ignition and key to the harness and drive off or put it in the back of a truck or van.

Thats a tad scary......I'd be talking to the suzuki dealer about a new ignition lock if I were you.....not to mention investing in a cable lock or chain....
