See, when you have a cheesy ninja 250, you don't have problems like this. Though, one day I will upgrade ... then lo-jack will be high on my list of things to get.

Sorry dude, hope you find your bike ... and I hope you find the dude that took it.

I wonder how long lo-jack will give a signal after the power had been removed from the bike. I hope you find the bike and the scub bags that took it. If they took it just for the fairings, then I think that they would probably consider it a total loss. So who crashed a gixxer in the last few weeks sparking this demand? lol

from what i understand, most bike thieves arent bikers at all, just retards that see an easy oppurtunity. and 90% of the public doenst even know theres lo-jack for bikes yet. so im betting the theif is too stupid to disconnect the power supply.

he told me that it was their system because theyve been having a problem with it for a little while, and should be fixed shortly.

From what I understand, LoJack installers arent even allowed to let anyone watch them install the lojack. I believe you really have to know what youre doing to disconnect a bikes lojack.
They are pretty sneaky.
Which is good for you.
Bad for the morons that ripped you off.

Not again...hopefully they find it this time as well and with no damage. You spend your hard earned money on something and somebody just jacks it...

lojack has a backup power system. as long as you report it ASAP....even if they disconnect the battery, lojack will still run on backup power supply for 24 hours i believe, that's what i was told when they installed my lojack.

12:51pm. no word yet. i called and it wasnt actuall entered into teh NCIC until 9am. she says it takes (usually) about three to four hours to recovery, in most cases. i asked about the likelyhood of it being disconnected, and she told me in her experience with lojack, that hasnt happened to anyone yet.

my name is mike, lol.

you got it!!! just say when and where. and i will get you a case. yes i said one case so don't start whining , you have more important things to worry about; like your bike. Man i sure hope you get it back in one piece. i am even gonna go get you a gremlin charm too!!! maybe that would help with more than just road conditions.
