What can I do about this?

Purchased a radiator from a seller on here. The radiator is to a different bike? I don't know. Now the guy is not responding to my calls or texts.

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=259007

Paid $125 for the radiator and an extra $20 for shipping since the seller was in Louisiana at the time. So $145.00 in total via PayPal

This is my damaged radiator, notice where the holes are on the right.

photo3 zps5a293165

This is the one the seller sold me, no place to mount my reservoir tank, the holes are on the opposite side.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Was it not as described? If it was as described you should eat it. If not he should take it back

post a link to the thread for the radiator, or you don't want to put them on blast...yet?

if you cant do anything with the seller, youre going to have to sell it yourself. use that money and buy another radiator for your bike. maybe find a cheap one on ebay?

Maybe he's out of town, on a trip, or otherwise unreachable for a bit.

I stated an 05-06 Radiator for a GSXR 1K was needed, in my thread. This is not an 05-06 GSXR 1000 radiator.

Yes. He's been a member since 08, I figured I could trust him vs ebay. Low post count was iffy, I should have just went with ebay in the first place.

Thought about that. I would need to run a vaccum hose from the left where those holes are, all the way to it's connection on the right.

I already purchased another radiator on Sunday, thanks.

Lol, it's on the box he shipped it it. I'm not pulling anything at all, I would like to speak to him in person or on the phone like real men do to get this resolved.

I'll probably do that.

I tried contacting him last night, both phone and texts, no answer.

Radiator was received on 6/8/13, I tried calling him Friday (6/7/13) to see if he shipped the radiator, texts too. No answer what so ever.

Only time I spoke with him was before he shipped the radiator out, after that, nothing at all.

give it a chance, maybe he just sold it to you not knowing it was a wrong part. too many people on here gungho want to whip someones azz when it could be just a simple mistake. maybe he is out the loop and if enough time passes then go the next step (i.e. negative feedback) if you lose your cool you lose your money.

Good call. I agree that it could be a simple mistake, that does happen. Like I mentioned above, I'm not going to go to the extreme to pull any moves. I have his address on the box he shipped it in.

I just want the correct part or my money back.

File a dispute with Paypal, don't wait. You only have 30 days or you are outta luck.

It may have been an honest mistake, but the lack of response is a red flag to me.

I also request pics up front before I send any $$ for anything over the web. Too many shysters out there these days.

Mount your reservoir on the other side or just a water bottle as a reservoir and zip tie that hoe.

I may do that, thanks bro.

I also spent $80 for an aluminum weld/repair to my old radiator at this shop called

EL PANAL RADIATOR
722 Mccarty St Houston, TX 77029
(713) 678-8111

Dropped the radiator off on a Saturday (6/8/13) and they said it would be ready no later than Monday, but wasn't ready until Wednesday (6/12/13).
I mounted and filled it, and it now has a leak on the opposite side of the radiator, not the side that I damaged.

Apparently they put a few spot welds on both sides of the radiator, I'm guessing for added strength since the mounts are on top? That must have done something, and I now have another pin hole leak. The original leak is fixed, but still...

Just my luck.
