Way too restrained, in my opinion. I probably would have just punted the punk with the front bumper at speed . Forget calling 911...they are worthless in most true emergency situations.

I'd consider a totaled bike a worthwhile trade for a battered, bruised, and roadrashed criminal.

An eye for an eye...leads to a bunch of blind folks. That's prolly why my judgement is so clouded....

Good shyt, I'd have hit his , beat his and then called the cops on his ... a civil suit, glad he got his bike back tho (I just would have been mad not to have gotten the fugger that stole it:BangHead: )

I would have followed him and not let him know it until he stopped and was getting off. Then I wouldn't have a wrecked bike and I would have caught the scub bag! In this case he did everything wrong. He let rage take over and he ended up with a wrecked bike, wrecked truck and possible citations for the chase.

the man was wearing a dirtbike helmet on street? why not just wear a baseball cap or doo rag, at least its more stylish.

i think that the guy did a good job of controlling the situation and getting his property back, i mean, if the cops didnt even try to pursue the theif AFTER he had taken off on foot, they sure as wouldnt have done a thing to retreive the man's bike if he had backed out of the chase and left it to the local PD.

"and after being ignored by Police, I was upset.”

- cops are to busy writing speeding tickets to worry about stolen property.
