Exclamation Jay Newton's NOLA Thanks!!

Not quite the Father's Day I had planned, but having Jay safe is the best gift ever!! After a rider went into a turn on the first lap of race 3, lost control of his bike, hit Jay, and caused him to go down, it was a tough re-grouping process. With A LOT of help from Greg Gilstrap, Zach Bolena, John Hutchinson of South Central Race Center, Brandon Spradling from P1 Racing, and our friend Adam Smith, Jay was able to make the call to grid for all but one race. In race 5, debris on the track caused a high side, and the bike could not be repaired in time for race 7. The weather was far less than cooperative all day as well, but I was very impressed with my kiddo for gutting it all out to salvage whatever he could out of the weekend, and for coming back to capture two podiums that afternoon. It is a shame that the mistake of another caused us our race weekend for the most part, but that seems to be the way in racing. We are thankful that his injuries are not serious, and that he is safe!! Thanks to everyone for all the help and checking on Jay!! It is greatly appreciated!!! We hope to get the bike back in top form, and be ready for Cresson!! We look forward to seeing you all there!!
