Any campers at MSRH 6/22?

I'm trying to decide whether to camp the night before or not. This is my first track day.

MSRH is about 45 min from the house, and I'd like to get my spot set up before the day. How early do you guys who don't camp usually get there, and how hard is it to find garage space?

Fack camping...unless u got a/c. In this heat u wont be rested enough. Just get there 15-20 min before the gates open and u will be fine.

Garage space? Unless ur leasing a garage there isnt any...under an awning is all u get.

You can have a fan because they have electrical outlets there and a lot of theM you'll be fine make sure you bring a tent. there are showers on the track for camping there just because in the morning you don't have to run around and rush to the track. you are only 45 minutes away from the track I might consider leaning towards sleeping at the house

Nah, I don't know anyone. I expect that maybe some dudes I had met on some SMR's may be there, but I don't really know anyone going. I just moved here back in November.

If you don't camp, it's very unlikely you'll get space under the awning. Ride Smart days make MSRH a VERY packed place.

Only 45 minutes away, camping isn't worth it, especially in the heat. The time you save driving would be eaten up putting up and tearing down your camp. I'm about 30 minutes away and leave in the morning to MSRH. Especially if you have bike prepped - taped up, etc, you'll have plenty of time. There's almost always room to shoehorn in next to someone.

Also, HWY6 and 288 is the last stop for breakfast. I don't know if there's always breakfast with RideSmart. See you there.

Nah I didn't make it out there today.

But I'd appreciate the offer, it'd be cool to pit with some experienced people. I still might camp, I dunno. I would just hate to get there and not have a space to put my in the shade.

Ez-Up...dont have to worry about being crammed under the awning. I never had an issue finding space if I got there just before the gate opening time....Again fack camping

I'll be there, I drop my bike/trailer the night before. (Not likely gonna be camping tho). My bike is easy to spot. I will likely be near the end closest to the classrooms. Will be with a few ppl from ATX (Art aka flynfatman, Ignacio aka IPMAN, Mrs. IP). You're welcome to pit near us, if you'd like. I'm happy to help with whatever I can. Chris5.0 is pit marshaling, you can ask him where I'm at, if I'm not immediately available. There will be Ride Smart staff all over the place willing to help guide you, as well.

Happens all the time. Guarantees a spot under the covered paddock area, along w/electricity, and keeps those of us coming from out of town from having to leave our trailers/bikes in a hotel parking lot overnight. I wouldn't leave anything easily carried away, such as gear, warmers, etc. But generally things are left alone, esp if you do what Umayr suggested and talk to the ppl around you that will be camping.
