where to get an antique moto inspected?

Okay...you guys are the ones I hit up when I need help for something that is very unique...but still moto related.

We have a 1974 Suzuki TS185 that is about to be registered, yay! What we'll need to do next is get it inspected. Anybody know of a place that will do inspections on bikes this old? As usual, thanks in advance for any help!

OMG, it can't REALLY be that easy, could it???? I'm serious, that would be great. I'll call WWH tomorrow, and Houston Moto Exchange (I would think that they do them too).

I didn't realize that since the kick start doesn't work that it won't pass...Rod just got home and told me. (and how did this not come up before? maybe I forgot...) So, we need to get that fixed first.

really! , in all the years of me riding, I've never even had anyone do a real inspecton, it has always been more of a walk around and ok lets go inside. in fact, I got to where I just never get my bikes inspected anymore and havent in years and have never had an issue, but I'm old and they dont give a rats about me as long as the young metric riders are out doing their woolies.

The guy I go to in Seabrook doesn't even look at the bike anymore. It really is pointless.

I pay my yearly motorcycle tax and move on.

I believe it is old enough for an antique plate which does not require an inspection.
