front tire change

I was feeling lazy so called houston cycle exchange on Durham and they wanted $50 to swap a front tire out. Thats if I bring the wheel and replacement tire.
I thought that was crazy. Is that the going rate???

Looking for a shop in the heights are to do it. gonna call metric today.
Any suggestions...

that is a lot...Cycle Gear will do it but you need to have purchased their tire. 2 Wheel Toyz is somewhere around $35.

Or, you can wait for a track day and visit there and find Whoop's/Allan. Won't be much either, and would be a good connection to make if track is in your future.

That's ridiculous. Even more than the stealerships who are around $40. 2 wheel toyz does free install when you buy tires from them. Also check hop and motorcycles unlimited. I think they're around $15 if you have the wheel off.

I'm surprised that not a single shop has offered to pay their customers with these prices. Ridiculous!
