also proves I should get this bike in the hands of a guzzi purist.
freaks me out, so many people hating, I'm wondering if they want to finance the rebuild so's I can keep it?
I am doing the right thing by passing it on instead of sitting on it, to me, its a cool old italian bike, to someone else its a dream bike, I think I found that guy, and real world, I made 300 freaking dollars on the deal, some gouger I am.
I am a guy that is glad I think I put this in the right hands, in the old barn, it was dieing, I like to think I helped mate this with the right owner that will bring her back to like new condition.
I will actually be doing the PC work on this bike still, he wants to contract me to do the work for him.

and the bike means nothing too me, nor do I want to own anything like that….it’s cool that it’s an old piece, but quite ugly to me as it doesn’t have the same appeal as modern bikes

well read the post above, maybe it will help explain things. Jeez, there is a reason things happen. Anybody that knows me, will let ya know, money doesnt motivate me, it doesnt make my world go round and I dont depend or yearn for it. I work hard, earn my share and do right by society whilst I'm doing it. I am far from rich, I am a poor fellow who could have stood to milk someone for some decent cash from this aquisition. I didn't, but still irks me that I have to explain why. I bought it with my money, I researched and decided its more than I want to do to refresh her right now, and I met a fellow who thinks this bike is the answer to his long, long search, and I put it in his hands for little of nothing, a complete rare v7 for 1.3, gimmie a break:laughing6

and I apologize for my post above, thats why i deleted it, I shouldnt of felt that way much less posted and I'm sorry, but , talk about a bunch of people judging with zero data.

Im not hating. Supply and demand. You have a product that you paid for and you want to sell it for a small profit. I dont see the harm in that. Like you said, its what makes the world turn
