Now the idiots are traveling in small herds...

Quote:
HOUSTON -
It proved to be a dangerous night on a Houston highway.

At around 11 Saturday night, deputies were called to a crash at Eastex at East Mount Houston in North Harris County.

Two young men, one of whom had just graduated high school, were driving northbound on HW 59 when the driver lost control of the car.

The car hit a barricade and went airborne, slamming into a concrete pillar of a freeway light pole.

Debris spread all over the road and on the car's engine that was sitting the middle of the access road.

The driver and passenger, who are 19 and 20 respectively, were trapped in the car for several minutes until Houston Fire Department was able to free them.

Both were flown by Life Flight helicopter to a nearby hospital. They both remain in critical condition.

Shortly after the men were freed, a motorcyclist was seen crashing into another car right next to the accident site.
Investigators assisted the cyclist off the road.

He did not appear to have any injuries.

While Harris County Sheriff's Office was investigating the crash, a motorcycle slammed into the back of a car while rubbernecking. The motorcyclist was not injured.

While traffic was backing up due to the first crash, a third crash occurred. A man trying to drive through snarled traffic slammed into the guardrail.
