Yes.. U can ride without knee guards. We just highly recomend knee protection.

I'm in, especially if TMax is down. Haven't been up that way in a while, just hope I can keep up. I've done a few noob rides and SMR's, but I know everybody's definition of "moderate" is slightly different.

Another gear question: seeing as how it's getting up there in temp, are 1/2 helmets allowed? Or is that kind of thing frowned upon? I have a full face if needed. Just thought I'd ask.
