Born and raised in Taipei, got my first kymco 125 when I was 14, thank you for your concern.

Here is a better picture for you. Three open lanes, I am on the far right, going 65mph on a 55 zone not an interstate, just a local hwy. A motorcyclist felt the need to lane split me? To me, that's all kind of up, and that's exactly what happened.

I share lanes with people all the time, will pull Next at a stop
light to say hi as well. If you are on a stretch gixxer I may pass/split you on the outside of turn while waving with my clutch hand... It's happened.

I slow down when passing other bikes on any road, and never in the same lane. I have seen others dirty passing, but I frown on it.

I don't pass bikes in same lane, but how is that any different than lane sharing with a cager?
