C'mon supadupa and Tiller, get your straight before you post.....

I run a 160 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa on the back. SC2 on the back SC1 on the front. Pirelli and Bridgestone both have slicks in 160 also.

If the SC is good enough for World Superstock, it is good enough for my 70hp SV.

It has 2 track days, 2 practice days, 8 practice sessions and 12 races on it. It will go another weekend.

I'm running the US made gpa's on mine. Whoopie put a set on mine a few months ago. They were $340 mounted. Got them in April and they had manufacture dates less than 2 months old.

I had been running Q2's. Went out as MSRH after installing the new tires, ran 3-4 laps and dropped more than a full second off my previous best time on the Q2's an hour earlier. Been loving them ever since.

Last time I checked, there's not a 160 series in the R10's yet.

Both Bridgestone & Michelin have stopped producing the 160. Got that directly from factory reps. They are just selling left overs at this point. They hinted that all the mfg's were doing the same thing. Great to hear that maybe that isn't the case.

Will def look up Pirelli's. Who is the local race distributor for them?

Talk to John at SCRC. He will know the scoop.

All together? Or just in track tires?

This.

$150 for trackday

$75 for license course

$140 for license

$50 for transponder rental

$80 for first race

$60 for second race

...that first weekend is expensive! If you can't cough up for a $300 helmet, you're in the wrong sport.

Do the school before the race weekend.

The license fee comes down after end of June I believe.

I would knock all of it out before you head to a race weekend.
