Well not anymore... we all got Parking Report Cards today. We failed at parking apparently. Yes, I'm serious.

He said the owner was there in the security office and he was that we were parked on the sidewalk. He also said they tow bikes there really fast.

I think from now on I'll just park inside

In the past some have parked right up against the KPOP wall. Never been a problem before.
When Mark gets back from cali, we will get him to check with them for clarification on the parking issue.

I tagged him in the pic on FB and he said he will take care of it. Mark is da man! I guess we'll just wait to see what they tell Mark.

Just a warning. The security officer was really cool, but he said he was instructed to give us warnings and talk to us.

being a private parking area, they could have them towed...
because i come from work i am always in a cage, but it will be good to get this worked out with clear cut plan.

I dont mind parking in spaces, but why should we take up parking spaces when we dont have to? It just seems more convenient for us, and the cagers that can park closer.

sidewalk routes are ADA ingress and egress paths in most commercial developments...ask BMPSTDX how he feels about motorcyles parking on the sidewalks. I'm not saying it's overkill if you left ample space to get around, but rules are rules. One day I will make a KPOP meet.

If you saw the place, you would understand. There are some pics around. The sidewalk in that area is WIDE. with the bikes parked near the curb, there is still more than a stadard sidewalk width left. I am usually an opponent of parking on sidewalks (normal sized).

but then when you get slapped with a ticket for parking on a normal s/w you say, "but, but, but over at KPOP we ....."

like I said, rules are rules...didn't say I don't break them, but you can't hate for someone doing their job, even if it is a one.

Great lunch & good meeting some new faces.

I saw the security parked there, getting his clip board out when I was leaving, but it didn't dawn on me it was because of the bikes.
